ONE MICHELIN STAR

The Armani/Ristorante in Paris was awarded its first star by the Michelin Guide France in their newly-released 2018 list, and has retained it for 5 consecutive years. Since being fully renovated in 2016, Chef Massimo Tringali has brought a touch of Italian flair to the Paris food scene while at the helm of the Armani/Ristorante.

OUR IDENTITY

“Besides quality of course, what I most value about food is the simplicity and the bond with history and traditions that it carries.”

Giorgio Armani

OUR EXECUTIVE CHEF

MASSIMO TRINGALI

Massimo Tringali is a Sicilian-born chef who has worked at Emporio Armani Caffè & Ristorante in Paris since 2016. After spending five years at a hospitality school in Sicily, where he learned to work in the dining room and kitchen, he left his homeland in 2001 to head to Paris. At the time he was only 21 years old. There he became head chef at the Mona Lisa hotel, rue de la Boétie. After two years, he joined the 'Carpaccio' team at the prestigious Royal Monceau. The restaurant had just received its first Michelin star. He then worked for many years alongside the chef at the Royal Monceau, who took him to Porto Vecchio, Corsica, to the Casa del Mare—where he obtained his first star—and then returned to Italy where he remained for ten years. In 2016, he met Massimo Mori, owner of Emporio Armani Caffè & Mori Venice Bar in Paris. Two years after his arrival, the restaurant was honoured with its 1st star in the Michelin Guide.
