The GA Giorgio Armani Gift Card (hereinafter “Gift Card”) is a non-personalized, prepaid gift card redeemable by the holder for private and non-commercial use only, for its customers. The gift card can be used exclusively in participating Stores (as defined below) for personal use or a gift for family and friends.
The Gift Cards are on sale in the “Giorgio Armani” stores included in the list of stores participating in the Gift Card scheme (hereinafter “Stores”), shown at the end of these General Terms & Conditions and in the Stores themselves.
The Gift Card can be paid for in cash or using one of the other payment methods accepted by GIORGIO ARMANI RETAIL. Following purchase in the participating Stores, the Customer will receive a receipt indicating the amount loaded and the date of validity of the Gift Card.
The Gift Card is active and usable as soon as the receipt has been issued.
Customers can choose how much money to put on a Gift Card, which is loaded in local currency, from a minimum of €50.00 to a maximum, according to the anti-money laundering legislation in force at the time. The value loaded onto the card corresponds to the actual sum paid by the Customer for the card.
Use of the Gift Card is regulated by these General Terms & Conditions:
- Gift Cards cannot under any circumstances be redeemed in a country other than that in which they were activated.
- Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from activation (time of purchase), unless credit is fully redeemed before the expiry date.
- Gift Cards can be redeemed in a single payment and thus can be used for a single purchase with a receipt for at least the value of the card, using all of the credit available, or with multiple purchases.
- For each purchase, the corresponding value will be deducted from the credit remaining on the Gift Card.
- For information on Gift Card balances and expiry dates, present the Gift Card at the cash desk of a participating Store.
- If there is not enough credit on the Gift Card to buy the articles you wish to purchase, the remaining money must be paid in cash or using one of the other payment methods accepted by the Stores. The remaining balance on a Gift Card cannot be transferred to another Gift Card and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Gift Cards are not rechargeable.
- After the date of expiry, Gift Cards can no longer be used and shall not be refunded for the remaining credit even if unused in full or in part.
- Gift Cards are not personalized and can be used by anyone who presents them at the time of purchase to buy Articles in the Stores.
- The Gift Card holder is fully liable for the use and custody of the card. GIORGIO ARMANI RETAIL shall in no way be held responsible for the theft, loss or damage of a Gift Card. In the event of theft, damage or loss, Gift Cards shall not be replaced or refunded by GIORGIO ARMANI RETAIL.
The Articles purchased using a Gift Card at one of the Stores shall be subject to the same general terms and conditions of sale applicable to any other article purchased at the Giorgio Armani Stores.
Complaints relating to the use of a Gift Card must be made at one of the participating Stores in the country of purchase.
The purchase and/or use of a Gift Card implies the full acceptance of these General Terms & Conditions, which are shown to the customer at the time of purchase of the Gift Card and are available in the participating Stores.
Any dispute arising from the use of a Gift Card shall be governed by the local law of the country in which the Gift Card was purchased and the competent court shall be defined according to local legislation.
