Giorgio Armani makes his return to the city of Tokyo, twelve years after his 2007 “One Night Only” appearance, to mark the reopening of the restyled Japanese flagship
concept store, the Armani/Ginza Tower nestled in the heart of the upscale Ginza district, by hosting a special event featuring a runway fashion show.
“I’m very happy to be visiting Tokyo again. It’s an intriguing and extraordinary city where the new stands alongside the old without any contradiction. It’s a place that I find extremely fascinating in its modernity and fast pace – ideal for presenting my 2020 Giorgio Armani Cruise collections for men and women.”

The location, situated inside one of Japan's oldest and largest national museums, specifically in the Hyokeikan building built and inaugurated in 1909 to honor the wedding of Emperor Taishō, is fitting as backdrop for the momentous occasion.
The spaces housed within the striking 12-story tower, an established reference point for the city, include the Giorgio Armani men's, women's and accessories
collections as well as a revamped Armani/Ristorante area and newly introduced Armani/Casa section.
This important visit stands to highlight the strong bond between Giorgio Armani and Japan - a country which has often inspired his work due to its unique contrasts, a country poised between past and future yet rooted in a harmonious balance.
