Return Policy

Our purpose is to guarantee your full satisfaction. If, for any reason whatsoever, you are not satisfied with your order, you may exercise your right to cancel your purchase and return purchased products. You must inform the Vendor of your decision to cancel and can do so by: (a) using the online return form available on the website (the “Return Form”); or (b) Contacting us within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date on which you received the purchased product (or for purchases of multiple products, the date of which you received the last product) from www.armani.com, or, if at the time of purchase you selected the “Pick up from store” option, from the date you picked up your order from the point of sale. Returned items must be shipped back to the Vendor within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date you notify the Vendor of your decision to cancel, or must be delivered to a sales assistant at an Armani store within fourteen (14) days of the date you received the items. Except in the case of a return by delivery of products to a point of sale, the products must be returned by shipping the package using the carrier indicated by the Vendor (UPS), or another carrier. Before sending back the products via the carrier, you must fill out the Return Form* (which conforms to the standard form pursuant to Art. 49, paragraph 4 of the Consumer Code) which is available on the website in the Customer Care area, or you may draft and send to the Vendor another statement specifying your decision to cancel. This latter case is without prejudice to your responsibility to prove that you have exercised the cancellation right in a proper, timely manner. Completion of the online return form will allow you to receive a number which you can use to track the status of your return. The Vendor will send you a confirmation of receipt of the cancellation request sent using this form via email. 

1. Terms and Conditions of Return

The right to return products shall be deemed correctly exercised once the following conditions have been fully met, except when products are returned via delivery to an Armani store:

a) we invite you to correctly fill in and submit either the online Return Form* or this alternative Form (which you may post or email to us) within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of your receipt thereof, or, whenever you have selected the “Pick up in store” option, from the date you picked up your order at the point of sale;
b) the products have not been used, worn, washed or modified and, in any case, compliant with the requirements detailed in the section on Compliance Checks;
c) the identification tag is still attached to the products with the disposable seal;
d) the products are returned in their original packaging;
e) the returned items must be shipped back to the Vendor within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date you notify us of your decision to cancel, or, whenever you choose to return the products by going to an Armani store, they must be handed over to a sales assistant within fourteen (14) days of the date they were received;
f) the products should not be damaged.

If you have fulfilled all requirements set forth above, the Vendor shall refund the entire price for the purchased products. Should you decide to use the courier indicated by www.armani.com in the online Return Form, you will not have to take care of the return shipping costs upfront, which are at your expense. In this case, www.armani.com will pay the return shipping costs for you and will deduct from your refund the cost of return postage. However, if you choose to use a different courier or other postage method for your return, you will have to pay for the return shipping cost upfront and at your own expense in accordance with our returns instructions. Other than as set out herein, you will not incur any fees as a result of your request for reimbursement. Whenever you decide to return the products by going to an Armani store, without thus waiting for the carrier to arrive to your home, you will not have to incur any expense and it will not be necessary to fill out the online Return Form. You will merely need to deliver the products in their original packaging to the sales assistant, with the pre-stamped adhesive label, and the letter summarising the order within fourteen (14) days of receiving the products. The Sales assistant will arrange to fill out the return form and place the products in the packaging, applying the pre-stamped adhesive label so as to allow them to be shipped to the Vendor. The sales assistant shall merely remove the products and insert them into the packaging, and will not check that the products comply with the terms and conditions indicated in the Sales Conditions. Delivery to the sales assistant is not equivalent to acceptance of the return by the Vendor, who will check that the return complies with the terms indicated in the Sales Conditions as soon as the products are received at its warehouses, and will arrange to inform you via email if your return is accepted.

You will be notified if the returned products cannot be accepted because they do not satisfy the conditions indicated at letters a) and e) above. In this case, you may choose to have the products delivered to you at no expense to the Vendor. If you refuse the above delivery, the Vendor reserves the right to retain the products and the amount paid for your purchase of the products. Without limiting the paragraph above, the cancellation right set out above does not apply to:

(a) sealed products unsealed by you following delivery, where return of such products is unsuitable due to health protection or hygiene reasons;
(b) products comprising sealed audio or video recordings or computer software, if the product becomes unsealed after delivery;
(c) products which are made to your specifications or clearly personalized; or
(d) products which have become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

2. Compliance Checks

Our products must be returned in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place and tags and stickers attached to them (if applicable), including all accessories and documents. We reserve our right not to accept any return if the product shows signs of wear, or has been used or altered from its original condition in any way or, as an alternative, may reduce the amount of any applicable refund or exchange accordingly.

For example, we may make a reduction in the following circumstances:

  • the product(s) have been used, worn, damaged or washed;
  • the identification tag with the disposable seal is not attached to the product(s), or has not been returned. Please note that identification tag constitutes an integral part of each product; and/or
  • you have not returned any packaging which is an integral part of a product (such as a dust bag).

You will be informed if we propose to reduce your refund for this reason. In this instance, you may (as an alternative to us providing you with a reduced refund) choose to have the products sent back to you at your own expense. Should you refuse this delivery, Giorgio Armani reserves the right to retain the products and the amount indicated for the decrease in refund, due to the decrease in value of the returned products.

3. Refund Times and Procedures

After the Vendor has received your return and checked that all requirements have been met, you will receive an email confirming acceptance of the return and the refund procedure will be activated. The goods will return to Giorgio Armani's property. In the event of a decrease in value of the returned products, you will receive an email informing you of the amount deducted as a reduction of the refund. Whatever form of payment you used (Credit/Debit Card), the refund procedure will start within fourteen (14) days from when the Vendor was informed of your decision to exercise your right to return the purchased products and once the Vendor has checked that the return was carried out in compliance with the above conditions.
The time period for refunding the amount you paid for purchasing the returned products depends on the form of payment used:

  • purchase by Credit/Debit Card: refund time will depend on the Credit Card company’s policies. We would like to assure you, however, that the value date for the credit will coincide with the date of the original payment; therefore you will not suffer any interest loss;
  • payment by PayPal (where available): refunds will be credited to your PayPal account and will be visible immediately. Reimbursement time to the credit card associated with your PayPal account depends on the company that issued the card;
  • payment in cash upon delivery: the refund is issued to the checking account you have indicated, therefore the refund time is dependent on you correctly entering the data; normally the credit occurs within fourteen (14) days.
4. Terms for replacing products

In certain specific cases, which have been duly noted in the Return and Exchange Form, you may replace the purchased products with other products, as well as obtain a refund for the respective price.
The replacement request shall occur within the following prescribed limits:

  • Replacement is only available for purchased products for which this possibility has been expressly provided in the Return and Exchange Form through the wording “Exchange”. In-store, it is not possible to exchange the selected item for another one;
  • You may request the replacement of one or more of the purchased products only for a product of the same model, in a different color and/or size. In any case, the available options for replacement will be indicated in the Return and Exchange Form;
  • You may request the replacement of one or more products that have been purchased within no more than fourteen (14) days of the date of their delivery, by filling out the Return and Exchange Form, which should be sent electronically to the Vendor within the aforementioned term. The products to be replaced must be delivered by mail within fourteen (14) days of the date of completing the Return and Exchange Form.
  • You may make a single replacement request for each purchased product;
  • The products for which you request a replacement must be returned to the Vendor in their original packaging, unused, unworn, and not washed or damaged. The identification tag must still be attached with the single-use seal;
  • The products to be replaced forming part of a single order must be sent to the Vendor in a single shipment. Indeed the Vendor reserves the right to not accept products from a single order that are sent for replacement at various times.

If all of the aforementioned conditions are properly respected, once the Return and Exchange Form containing your replacement request has been filled out and sent, the Vendor shall process the replacement request, sending you a confirmation email to that end.

5. Deadlines and methods for obtaining a replacement

After the Vendor has received the products it intends to replace and checked that all of the above requirements have been met, it will check the actual availability at its warehouses of products in the size and/or colour you have selected. In the event that the product or products selected for replacement are not available at its warehouses, the Vendor may not accept your replacement request and will therefore reimburse you for the price of the product or products that were originally purchased and that were unable to be replaced, according to the terms provided for in the sections of this policy. In the event that the product or products selected for replacement are available, the Vendor may accept your replacement request and will therefore send you an email confirming shipment of the replacement products. In this case, products will be shipped within thirty (30) days of the date when the Vendor becomes aware of your replacement request, once it has verified that said request has been made in accordance with the aforementioned conditions. The costs of shipping replacement products will be borne by the Vendor, who will select the respective carrier. Whenever the price of the purchased product is less than or greater than the price of the selected replacement product, you will not be charged for any refund and/or fee for the difference. You will be contacted in the event that your replacement request cannot be accepted because it does not conform to the aforementioned conditions. In this case, you may choose to be returned the products you intended to replace at your expense. Should you refuse such shipment, the Vendor reserves the right to withhold the products and the amount corresponding to the purchase thereof. The replacement product or products may be subsequently returned pursuant to and within the limits indicated in the preceding Sections.

Please remember it is necessary to have a Bank account in order to receive a refund for cash on delivery orders.

6. Identification Tag

All products sold by the Vendor include an identification tag attached with a disposable seal. Please try on the products without removing the tag and seal. Returned products without the tag or seal will not be accepted.

7. UPS

As advised by the Vendor, returned products may be shipped by the package delivery company UPS, using the pre-printed label enclosed in the package in which the products were shipped. If you use UPS, the Vendor will be paying the shipping costs and track the package at any time. Please contact UPS (or visit their site: www.ups.com) to organise pick-up. If you decide to use a different shipping courier than the one provided by the Vendor, you will have to pay for the cost of return shipping upfront and you will be responsible in case of loss or damage to the products during transport.
