Born in a small village named Frasso, near Terracina, in the Lazio region of Italy, the young chef Ivano Lauretti has a diverse background which has developed over time to further his extensive knowledge of cooking and enhancing his skills. As a third-generation chef who grew up on a small farm, his love for fresh, seasonal products and the kitchen started young. At the age of 17, Mr. Lauretti left his hometown and began his culinary journey working at the Hotel Radisson in Rome and the Hotel Bulgari in Milan. These tenures brought him to the Michelin starred Ristorante Il Carpaccio in Paris prior to relocating to New York. Mr. Lauretti joined Armani / Ristorante 5th Avenue in 2015 as Sous Chef and where he continued to grow and cultivate his skills. In 2023, Chef Lauretti rose to the role of Executive Chef where he and his team continue to offer guests authentic Italian cuisine in an elegant and relaxed setting, with inspiration stemming from simplicity, rich flavors, and integrity.
